Beginners & experts, young & old, are welcome to test their horse's skills at Team Sorting events  in teams of 3 riders to cut 5 cows out of a herd of 10 in numeric sequence in the shortest time  while keeping the cut cows in the opposite end of the arena & unwanted cows (trash) from crossing the foul line.  Prize money is usually paid for the first 3-6 places, depending on number of teams, for the fastest qualifying times in each round.  Bring your team or come individually to join up with other riders.  Variations include Sort & Pen, 2-Rider Sorting & One on One.

Team Sorting is good training & exercise for you & your horse.  This popular sport will improve your horse's performance, cow sense & overall well-being.  You too will be challenged to read the cows, cut-out your number & keep the herd under control.
